SITA Ansair Mercedes OC1617 243 & 244
This unusual pair of buses was seen at the West Footscray depot in August 2008. Both are Ansair bodied Mercedes OC1617 243 (2353AO) and 244 (2723AO). They were both new to Northern Bus Lines as 45 (CUX686) and 44 (CUQ177) respectively in 1986

SITA Hino BX341E PMCSA 284
Another very dedicated school bus was this PMCSA bodied Hino BX341E, 284 (2732AO) which owes its livery to previous owner, the Education Department of South Australia where it was new as 1162 (SPK162) in 1984.
 
SITA Volvo B10ML Fuji 206 & 209
This pair of Tokyo Expo Fuji bodied Volvo B10ML artics, 206 (2706AO) and 209 (2737AO) ended their days with SITA on school duties. Both had been with Sunbury Bus Service as 106 and 27 respectively, though 209 came from Bacchus March Coaches where it had been their 109.

This standard Volgren bodied Volvo B10M was acquired from Westrans where it had been 40 (2850AO).

New two years earlier in 2006 was this Volgren CR221L bodied Volvo B12BLE, part of a batch of five.

Most of the batch of newly acquired Volgren CR228L bodied Volvo B12BLE buses for the 401 service were lined up in the depot yard in April 2008 nearest the camera is 71 (6833AO), then 40 (6832AO), 16 (6834AO), 41 (6694AO), 43 (6728AO), 19 (6729AO), 54 (6831AO) and 27 (6727AO). As can be seen they are registered and parked in a higgledy piggledy order. They were for a new 401 service linking Melbourne University with North Melbourne Station, part of a family of "01" services linking tertiary campuses to their nearest train station.

SITA Volvo B10L Austral Pacific Orana 295
Acquired for rail replacement and similar work a batch of eight Austral Pacific Orana bodied Volvo B10L buses arrived from Brisbane Transport, now SITA 295 (BS01UL) this was 546 (546DOS, later 546REO) when new in Queensland in 1997, seen here on rail work in April 2019.

Orana 296 (BS01WT), new as Brisbane 588 (588FDL) in 1998, is seen on an evening rail duty in the temporary bus/rail terminus at the back of Federation Square.

The first of the Oranas, 290 (BS01UY), new as Brisbane 586 (586FDL) in 1999, also at the back of Fed Square that April, is in a wrap for "davenportcentral" a Hotham Heights ski resort. The previous winter 290 had been loaned to Alpine Spirit for the snow season.

As well as the Oranas, SITA acquired four 2000 vintage Volgren CR222L bodied Volvo B10L from Brisbane. Seen on the Dandenong Road on rail replacement work in Windsor in February 2020 was 285 (5508AO), former Brisbane Transport 600 (600FDL).

Few SITA buses got painted into full PTV livery before the company was sold to Transit Sysytems. Seen in the livery in North Melbourne in February 2020 was Volgren CR228L bodied Volvo B7RLE 129 (BS00BT) of 2014, one of only six buses reliveried before the sale.
