Seen at Pavlovich's depot in November 2017 was this Scania K420EB, 1618, new to Johnstons Coachlines as 15 (JCL15) but acquired from TraNZit Group where it was 1035 (JZP599).

Waiheke Island ADL Enviro200 Kiwi WB152 & Scania K124EB AB Denning Galaxy 251
In November 2017 Waiheke Bus Enviro WB152 (GBH142) meets their AB Denning Galaxy bodied Scania K124EB 251 (GLR161), originally Johnstons 511 (JCL11) and Scenic 27 (SCL27), but transferred to Waiheke from MANA where it had been 251 (GLR161) too.

North East Coachlines Scania K124EB AB Denning Galaxy BS00NL
Seen in the Rockingleigh Tours Diggers Rest depot in April 2018 another AB Denning Galaxy bodied Scania K124EB with a similar history, first as Scenic 36 (SCL36) in 2001, trasitioning to Johnston's as 36 (JCL36) and later 36 (GSD216) before crossing the Tasman.

Rockleigh Scania K124IB AB Denning Galaxy 5224AO
Seen at Port Melbourne docks in January 2020 was Rockingleigh Tours 5224AO, an anonymous AB Denning Galaxy bodied Scania K124IB acquired from Johnston's Coachlines where it was 514 (GJU565), but originally 8 (AHC816) with Parakai Coaches in 2001.
 
Karapiro Scania K113TRB Designline EBH246 Johnstons
Seen heading north from Hamilton in February 2020 is Karapiro Charters and Tours' EBH246, a 1995 Designline bodied Scania K113TRB which thye had acquired from Star Bus Tours in Auckland. The coach had been new to the Mount Cook Group in Christchurch as 582 (TO2321) then joining the Kiwi Experience fleet before arriving with Johnston's still as 582 (EBH246), but later getting registration JCL62.

Ritchies Volvo B6R Designline 1229 Alpine
At Ritchies Christchurch depot in February 2020 was this unusual Designline bodied Volvo B6R new to Leopard Coachlines as 54 (ST7098) in 1994. The 35 seat dual door coach later became Johnston's 274 (JCL74). They sold it to Alpine Connexions at Wanaka as 335 (CAY274), who in turn sold it to Ritchies where it became their 1229. COVID saw it off, it was stored later that year and ultimately sold for non passeneger service.

Redbus Scania K124EB AB Denning Galaxy 112
RedBus 112 (GSH259) was yet another AB Denning Galaxy bodied Scania K124EB new in 2002 as 26 (SCL26) with Scenic Coachlines and like the others joined the Johnston's fleet. It was 516 (JCL16) then sold to RedBus in whose depot it is seen in February 2020. It headed back to Auckland a year later following sale to Day Trip and Touring of Henderson.
