Plymouth Metrolink Gillig BRT 60001
This Gillig BRT 40ft, 60001, is typical of the service bus fleet headed out of the city to Station 73 Park & Ride. This is the second from a batch of 15 delivered in 2009, more of the same followed thereafter, plus five MCI D4500CT commuter coaches in 2018. Prior to that the fleet had included Gillig Phantoms and, unusually, twenty Blue Bird buses delivered in 2001-2002. Like Maple Grove Transit, Plymouth City opted out of MetroTransit, but seven years earlier in 1984. The bulk of its operations are services into Minneapolis.
