Seen in August 2011 was this unidentified Ford Dial-A-Ride unit.

This Gillig BRT 40ft, 60001, is typical of the service bus fleet headed out of the city to Station 73 Park & Ride. This is the second from a batch of 15 delivered in 2009, more of the same followed thereafter, plus five MCI D4500CT commuter coaches in 2018. Prior to that the fleet had included Gillig Phantoms and, unusually, twenty Blue Bird buses delivered in 2001-2002. Like Maple Grove Transit, Plymouth City opted out of MetroTransit, but seven years earlier in 1984. The bulk of its operations are services into Minneapolis. |
The first of the batch, 60000, passes a SouthWest Transit MCI dropping off on their morning commuter runs into the city. |
Heading out to Vicksburg Lane on the 776 is 60009 whilst MetroTransit hybrid Gillig 7212 heads inwards. |
Back in August 2011 the fleet had a batch of ten 2006 New Flyer D40LF buses in operation. This is 2604 on the 790 to the Four Seasons Mall followed by a similar machine of the MVTA. |
The last of the batch, 2610, is also headed for "4 SEASONS" with a gold SouthWest Transit MCI commuter coach in the distance. |
New Flyer 2605 was also on the 790, headed in the opposite direction to Bass Lake Road. All ten buses were transfered to MetroTransit for further service (same fleet numbers) until withdrawn. |
