The central Bell Tower dominates the ancient walled city of Xian. The land mark is isolated as a traffic island which forms an impressive backdrop for this green city doubldecker.

A singledeck bus joins the traffic throng, but the big battle for public transport is not with the car, but the bicycle.

Despite the number of bicycles the pollution can be readily seen in this shot of a white liveried decker approaching the Bell Tower. The resemblance of the design to the Setra doubledeck coach may be noted.
